Experience You Can Trust

What our customers are saying

See what homeowners and businesses throughout the Inland Empire have to say about working with our team.

Trevor started out as an employee of my company Rancho Santa Fe Technology-MCS in 2006. After obtaining his electrical contractors license, he became the responsible managing employee for the electrical side of the business, and went on to perform numerous electrical jobs within our contracts.

Now as the owner and operator of Mission Critical Electric I would definitely recommend them for all your electrical needs, ranging from hanging ceiling fans to building ground up mission critical data centers.

Cory Crommett Former owner, Rancho Santa Fe Technology-MCS

Mission Critical Electric has had a relationship with CBRE since 2008, while working on the Navy Marine Corp Intranet contract. Trevor and his MCE crew performed numerous electrical jobs throughout the entire western NMCI project, installing hundreds of network cabinets and the required electrical distribution in DOD server rooms for us.

I highly recommend MCE for their fast, reliable and cost-effective electrical work.

Doug CBRE

Since 2010, Trevor and Mission Critical Electric has performed a multitude of electrical work for me and my employer. Electrical projects ranging from $10K to $3.3M, located throughout the US and overseas on government and private properties.

From inside wiring to site electrical infrastructure, MCE has always blended and at times lead the construction team and set the pace. I would recommend Trevor and MCE to anyone interested in project focus, quality, and completion.

Common Questions

Frequently asked

Short answers to the questions we are asked most often. If yours is not here, get in touch and we will answer it directly.

What electrical services do you provide?

We cover both residential and commercial work. On the residential side that includes panel upgrades, solar, EV chargers, home additions and remodels, lighting controls and improvements, generators and electrical troubleshooting. On the commercial side we handle data center electrical, switchgear and power distribution, UPS systems, generator backup systems, tenant improvements, modular building electrical, and electrical engineering and design.

How long has the company been in business?

Mission Critical Electric brings more than 30 years of electrical and construction experience to residential, commercial and mission-critical projects across San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

Are you a licensed electrical contractor?

Yes. We hold California contractor license 1125690, classifications C-10 and B. You can look it up on the Contractors State License Board register at cslb.ca.gov.

Which areas do you serve?

We work across Riverside and San Bernardino counties, including Calimesa, Yucaipa, Beaumont, Banning, Redlands, Loma Linda, San Bernardino, Colton, Moreno Valley, Riverside, Hemet, Perris, Fontana, Rialto, Corona, Menifee, Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario, among others. The full list is on the service areas page.

Can any electrician install an EV charger?

An EV charger needs a licensed electrician, because it usually means a new dedicated circuit and often a panel upgrade to carry the load. We handle the charger, the circuit and the panel work together, and pull the permit where one is required.

How much does an electrical panel upgrade cost?

It depends on the amperage you are moving to, the condition of the existing service, and whether the utility connection needs changing. A 200 amp upgrade is the most common request. We quote in writing after seeing the panel, rather than giving a figure over the phone that changes once we arrive.

Do you charge to come and look at a job?

Not for quoting a defined job. We look at the work, then send a written scope. Diagnostic work is different, because tracing an intermittent fault is the job rather than the estimate, and we say so before booking it.

What are your business hours?

Our office hours are 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Weekend appointments are available by request.

How do I get a quote for a project?

Contact us with the details of your project and we will come back to you with a written scope. For larger commercial jobs we review the drawings first before quoting.
